The Map Manager lists features found in the active model and attached as a reference. Features that are attached as a reference read-only. Make Active for Edit activates the file containing the selected feature while attaching all other files as references and keeping the display unchanged. While in edit mode, you can create new features, make edits to existing features and use other tools on the right-click context menu of the selected feature.

1. In the Map Manager, right-click the feature to edit and choose Make Active for Edit.
2. Use the Command Manager to place new features or edit the attributes of existing features.
3. When done, choose Stop Editing from the right-click menu of the feature.
